Heart Pendant with drop pearls

I have made this before but not in copper and not with pearls. The pearls came from a Christmas in July trade that I did with Amy from My Little One-Room Schoolhouse http://littleoneroomschoolhouse.blogspot.com/ I think that I will make another one for me as this one is for my mom and there are plenty of these beautiful pearls left.

Paperclip Bracelet

If you have beads and paperclips, you can make these bracelets! This is from Emi Harrington http://www.favecrafts.com/Bracelets/Paper-Clip-Bracelets/ml/1
and these are super simple and fun (and cheap) to make. The silver beads are from Micheal's, the pink beads are from the Dollar Tree and the blue beads are from Mich L in LA.

Twist Wire Bracelet

I found this last night/this morning while looking at beading websites and wow, this is a beautiful bracelet. It is a very detailed tutorial http://littleredrobinbird.blogspot.com/2011/07/how-to-make-twist-wire-bracelet.html?showComment=1339416347765#c4064832404878432234 Mine turned out a little short, if I make another one I will make the wire lengths a bit longer. I made up for it being short with a bit of chain, which I will replace with silver chain when I go to the store again. I love it since you can use whatever beads that you happen to have on hand. I used pink beads that I got from Dollar Tree and the glass pearls from Micheal's. You can get the wire from pretty much any craft store. This can be a cheap project and it was fun to make because I wasn't sure what it would look like when it was done. The purple one is made up of random beads that I had on hand.

Wire Wrapped Bracelet

I made this after seeing this post http://jewelsofsayuri.blogspot.com/2010/09/wrapped-3-wire-bracelet-tutorial.html from Jewels of Sayuri. She has lots of cool tutorials and posts, you should check her out. This was pretty easy to do. I should have not used the big beads as part of the bracelet except for on the ends as directed in the tutotrial, but I love it just the same. I had everything on hand to make this. I am not sure if everyone uses the wire eyepins and headpins like I do. I use the cut part to make more eyepins instead of throwing it away so you get more bang for your buck.

Bird's Nest Pendant

I see these all over the internet and decided to make one, actually I have made a lot of these. These are super easy to make and very cheap to make also. Here is the one that I made for me. I used copper wire and pearls, but use your favorite color of wire and your favorite beads. I used metallic bugle beads for the necklace. Here is a tutorial to make one http://www.sarahortega.com/2011/05/diy-bird-nest-necklace.html

Button Pendant

I made this

after seeing this

I love it. It was really fun to make. I used a square perfume bottle to make the shape. It looked like a TV because it had two ends like antenna and I exclaimed this to my husband as I showed it to him. "It looks like a TV!". He laughed and laughed about it because he said I was already saying a bunch of random things and that just took the cake.

"I'm not random I just have many thoughts".....

O.o

Any who.....

The smaller button is pink and not metallic at all...this flash on this camera is no joke.
Joann's was having a sale on pretty much everything and I had a coupon so I picked up a few extra items. Fun times. As you can see I forgot to pick up a chain (oops) so I am making due with this pink ribbon that I found in my stash. Speaking of buttons, I have another button craft up my sleeve but that is for tomorrow kids.

Bead and Wire Heart Pendant

Hello all. This is a necklace I made using a tutorial from Tatertots and Jello http://tatertotsandjello.com/2011/02/valentine-gift-idea-make-handmade-heart.html... Check out her blog while you are there. She has a nice assortment of recipes and tutorials. I made mine with a brass chain and pearls and love how it turned out, and I loved it even more that I just happened to have everything on hand. This was a fun and easy project. I have one problem....Where did I put the necklace? LOL. Don't you just love when you misplace something? NOT. I did find it, it was under a picture frame on my vanity.

They have gold, red, green, blue and purple. I love the Dollar Tree.

Higgledy Piggledy Bracelets

Hello gorgeous people. Here is a new post and these are called "Higgledy-Piggledy Bracelets" because it uses random beads that you have leftover from other projects. This is from Unfortunately OH! I love this blog, lots of great tutorials.
http://unfortunatelyoh.blogspot.com/2012/05/higgledy-piggledy-bracelets.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed:+UnfortunatelyOh+(Unfortunately+Oh!)

The second one has a bracelet that matches my jump ring necklace. The first picture has a blue bracelet, the blue polka dot beads are from Mich L in LA (check her out, I love her. She is a sweetie and she is always making cool jewelry from unexpected items http://www.michlinla.com/) and the peach chips are from her too. The top bracelet is made from wood beads, bone beads, plastic pearls and Rudraksha beads. These are cool little beads that are actually seeds and I got mine from Shipwreck beads. The purple heart one is glass hearts, plastic metallic roses, pearls, bone beads. The blue bracelet also has tube paper beads that I made, wood beads, plastic pearls and plastic metallic roses. The peach chip bracelet is made with gemstone beads and plastic pearls. The Orca bracelet is made with wood cinnabar beads, one orca bead (Shipwreck Beads), wood beads, bone beads and plastic blue bicones.

I hope this inspires you to make something with the beads in your stash.
