Heart Earrings from Oksana

I love these earrings SO MUCH! I sent my mom this picture to see if she would like a pair. I just happened to have everything on hand,  and these go together quickly. This is another great tutorial from Oksana. Click here for the tutorial http://oksanalikesit.blogspot.com/2012/01/diy-valentines-earrings.html

Arizona Tea Earrings and a Necklace

I made these using a scalloped punch that I got from Michael's for 40% off. I used my coupon for 50% off on the chains that I got for the necklace and the bracelet. The bead are crackle glass beads that I got a while back from Fire Mountain Gems. The necklace and earrings have two sides, I glued the pieces together using Loctite for cement and metal and clamped them. The small hole punch can be bought at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

Pink Teardrop Earrings

Yes, this is a re-post but I am showing you how to make these and entering them into a contest. The contest is from Dollar Store Crafts. You have to be able to make your craft for $5 or less and you can win a $100 gift card from Dollar Tree http://dollarstorecrafts.com/2012/07/link-up-for-the-5-craft-challenge/

Package of pink beads from Dollar Tree-$1.00
strand of 8mm or 6mm glass pearls (I got mine from Micheal's) $1.00
set of ear wires (about 4 sets in  a pack for $1.47 at Hobby Lobby)
headpins (15 for $1.47 at Hobby Lobby)
Pliers with cutter on hand

Here are my earrings. It should be mentioned that you can make many more earrings and jewelry from the same package of beads and other supplies in the supply list.

Gather your supplies, you need two teardrops, two glass pearls, two headpins and two ear wires for these earrings. You also need a pair of wire pliers with cutters.

Here is the package of beads you need so you can see what it looks like.

Clip headpin off so it is a straight wire. Bend wire 90 degrees into a loop.

Like so.

Add the teardrop.

Close end tightly and trim end.

Bend other end into a loop. Repeat this process with the remaining piece of wire (the piece you just cut) and one pearl and attach.

Attach to ear wire. Make sure you pinch loops shut well.

All done!

Pink Teardrop Earrings

I made these using eyepins (two for each earring), glass pearls and pink teardrops. I got the teardrops in a package with other beads at the Dollar Tree and the glass pearls are a buck a strand at Micheal's so this is a cheap, yet beautiful (also easy and fast) project.

Bugle Bead and Seed Bead Earrings

I made these

after seeing these earrings on Bonanza
http://www.bonanza.com/listings/Handcrafted-seed-bead-and-bugle-bead-hoop-earrings/31187394
I made them out of items that I had on hand but even if you were to buy the items to make these, it would still be a pretty cheap project. Fishing line, bugle and seed beads (I got mine in a pack from the Dollar Tree),  fake pearls and earring wires. I think that I will make a few more pairs of these in different colors.

Earrings from My Girlish Whims

These were made from an assortment of items that I already had on hand. The stars are hematite. The ones with washers were made with the smallest washers in a package from the Dollar Tree. The purple hearts are glass. I made these using this tutorial from Rebecca of My Girlish Whims http://www.mygirlishwhims.com/2012/04/jewelry-lessons-how-to-create-simple.html They are fun to make and you can make them with a variety of beads and items as you can see.

Safety Pin Earrings

These were simple simple, and you more than likely have everything on hand to make them. Chris always chuckles when he sees them. I even had close to the same beads that she uses.  These are somehow punk and dainty at the same time.

Button Earrings

I made these after seeing another great tutorial from Disney of Ruffles and Stuff.
http://www.rufflesandstuff.com/2012/01/easy-button-earrings-tutorial.html

It starts with these awesome buttons from my stash that I actually saw and put back, but Chris said I had to have them since they were "so you". They came in a pack with some glitter skulls and hearts. I haven't decided what to do with those yet.....

I decided at the last minute to make one of the skulls into a necklace.

Rhumba Earrings

I made these earrings using this tutorial http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/rhumba_earrings from Megan LaCore. These were easy to make and used minimal items to make. You probably have everything on hand. Jump rings, earring wires and larger seed beads. Give it a go.
